Dashmote is an AI technology scale-up headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. With the goal of bridging the gap between images and data, we are working to bring AI-based solutions to marketers at clients like Heineken, Unilever, Philips, L’Oreal, and Coca-Cola. We add value in areas such as Location Analysis, Trends Analysis, and Marketing Intelligence.


Today, our company has offices in Amsterdam, Shanghai, Vienna, and New York. Over the past few years, our teams have solved a wide variety of cases, such as analyzing beer drinking and hairstyle trends by utilizing our Visual Recognition Tools, as well as identifying prospective leads by generating intelligence dashboards derived from Visual Content Analysis.


Role Description

As our Data Analyst, you will help our Project team to ‘connect the dots’ - that is, translating raw data into actionable insights for a variety of audiences. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, and continuously bring the best-in-class analytics to our clients and stakeholders. You will be working closely with all teams (Data Science, Marketing and Business Development) for different kinds of projects.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Visualise complex data in a clear understandable manner to a non-technical audience in the form of dashboards, specifically using PowerBI.

  • Test, filter, organise, and manipulate large volumes of raw data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.

  • Create and present reports on a regular basis and ensure that databases remain error-free and organized.


  • Proficient in data visualisation tools: PowerBI knowledge is a must

  • Experience with Python and SQL 

  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Business Intelligence etc.)

  • Prior work experience with Data Analysis (data processing, making queries)

  • A big affinity for data and numbers, and a curious mind to discover and derive insights

  • You are proactive, autonomous, analytical and have a strong eye for detail

  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
