About us

Dashmote is an AI technology scale-up headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. With the goal of bridging the gap between images and data, we are working to bring AI-based solutions to marketers at clients like Heineken, Unilever, Philips, L’Oreal, and Coca-Cola. We add value in areas such as Location Analysis, Trends Analysis, and Marketing Intelligence.

We have big plans and are expanding globally, which is a great chance to jump on board a start-up in scaling phase and contribute to shaping the company massively. Today, our company has offices in Amsterdam, Shanghai, Vienna, and New York. Over the past few years, our teams have solved a wide variety of cases, such as analyzing beer drinking and hairstyle trends by utilizing our Visual Recognition Tools, as well as identifying prospective leads by generating intelligence dashboards derived from Visual Content Analysis.

Role description

As the the People & Culture Manager in our currently 3-person HR team, you are an entrepreneurial spirit who loves a smooth-running organisation and knows how to make it happen. You are a people person, who believes in company culture, and knows how to juggle wearing multiple hats. Being part of a rapidly scaling company, you'll have the opportunity to have a huge impact on our team. 

More specifically, some of your typical responsibilities include:

    • Working on our overall HR strategy in a fast-growing, fast-changing environment

    • Keeping your finger on the pulse and developing company culture
    • Keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing HR analytics; summarizing information and identifying trends
    • Maintaining our recruitment strategy and championing our employer brand (technical recruitment experience is plus) 
    • Assisting in learning and development activities, including but not limited to identify training needs for individuals and teams, evaluating, and measuring the success of the trainings

    • Supporting the operational tasks and optimizing business operations when needed

    Job requirements

    • You have a startup mindset - you're adaptable and have a bias toward action

    • You have at least 2 years of experience in HR and/or Operations, as well as strong knowledge in Dutch labour law

    • Fluent English and Dutch (preferred)

    • You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with experienced managers and quickly building relationships with candidates and colleagues

    • Sense of humor required

    • Full-time availability
